  1. Hi Dr Lee,
I'm the owner the unit 155-6-1. Thanks for initiating this blog!
Its exciting and impressive to see the work being carried out in terms of the repair of swimming pool and cold water pipes. However, I'm very keen to know if there is any plan to renovate, repair and repaint the buildings? From the exterior, the buildings look very old, awful and low end. To ensure growth in capital value of the condo's, it is important to carry out this work. Please advise if there are any plans in the near future? If yes, what is the deadline? Thanks for the effort!

  2. Dear Mr Akhil Gupta,

So sorry I didn't reply earlier, I have not been checking this account for a few days.

Yes, we did have plan to paint the buildings and upgrade the lobby, clubhouse, more landscaping work etc. However as a matter of priority, all these plans had to be put on hold for a while until we get the major repair works done, which cost a lot of money. We have been trying to get defaulters to pay back money owed over the years and it has been an uphill task. Once we have enough funds and major repairs are attended to, yes, we will definitely give the building a facelift! Like you, we think this is very important and is long overdue.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Do feel free to attend the MDMC monthly meeting, which is held on every second Saturday of the month, at 3 pm in the MD office meeting room. You will get a better idea of what's going on and what are the difficulties we face. Better still, please volunteer to be on the subcom to help out.

    Thanks again!

    Rgds,

    Gan SL
